Model : WCD18CE Acoustic/electric Comfort Series Dreadnought Guitar

Washburn Guitars introduced the WCD18CE acoustic/electric guitar as part of the Comfort Series in the end of 2012. A highlight of the Comfort Series is a beveled top at the lower bout and, on some models, including the WCD18CE, a belly cut on the back. Both features prevent hard, right angle edges from cutting into the elbow & belly.

The WCD18CE is a dreadnought acoustic/electric guitar with a venetian cutaway for superior upper fret access. The guitar features a spruce top with gorgeous abalone rosette and mahogany back and sides for a rich, warm sound.

The 2013 production introduced the satin finished mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard that features classic dot inlays and a rosewood bridge that matched the fingerboard. The black gloss headstock which features a pearl inlaid Washburn logo and stylized Washburn branded chrome die cast tuners for tuning ease and stability. A NuBone® nut & saddle add to the tone and sustain of the instrument. Optional item : original Washburn hard-case, model : GCDNDLX fits for WCD18CE.

 

The WCD18CE is a fantastic sounding acoustic guitar on its own but the addition of premium Fishman electronics makes for an outstanding stage performance guitar. The Fishman Isys+ is an integrated tuner/pickup combo for versatile amplified tonal shaping, allowing precise control of bass and treble frequencies.
